Vertical Booking integrates connectivity to the GDSs with its own chain code OK, under the trademark Alesia Distribution

The totally integrated solution
Advantages
- User-friendly back office
- Fully integrated in the CRS
- High quality technical support
Representing its member hotels on
and Dhisco (formerly known as Pegasus).
The fully integrated Vertical Booking platform makes it easy to manage GDS distribution together with the Booking Engine and Channel Manager.
GDS distribution is different to the direct sales on the hotel’s website or through the OTAs. Clients on the GDSs are Travel Agents, Consortia and Large Companies, not the end users that book on the OTAs like Booking.com. Managing your GDS distribution effectively therefore requires a different approach, and Vertical Booking not only provides you connectivity, but also helps you get this approach right.
What the GDS screens look like to the travel agents
Example 1
These are the results of a search for hotels in Rome. The two letters before the name of the hotel are the Chain Code. Here we can see there are two hotels with the Alesia Distribution code OK. On this page the hotels are listed at random.
Example 2
These are the results of a search for availability for a specific date in New York. Again, the results are shown at random and show the minimum and maximum room prices at each hotel. Here you can also see examples of the marketing messages that appear.
